I have a 79 J10 with a bench seat I would like to change to buckets What would be a good seat(make/model) that I could use without to much mounting problems? thanks john

Get a set out of a wag or cherokee. They will bolt in. Avoid high back buckets as they end up mounting too far forward to be comfortable in the leg room dept. Or, mounted back as they should be then you are too straight up. My .02.

I'm looking to put a bench seat in my 81 Cherokee to replace my buckets but the mounting bracket has rusted through on the left front of the driver seat.

That's kinda funny. I have (will have) an '82 J10 that I'm gonna wanna put a bench in. Too bad you're on the wrong side of the country.

this is what i did. you will also need bucket seat floor brackets as well.

Wow those are some nice seats!! Its funny, I have the same center console in my Wag. I think I got it at target or something. Works very well.

Here are the buckets in my J4000. Big improvement over the stock bench and I have planty of room (I'm 5'11"):
