Heater Hose routing 1966 327 motor
The heater hoses were never hooked up on this truck when I bought it. the heater core has 2 different size pipes, which one goes to the water pump and which feeds to the exhaust maniforld. I can get both 3/4 and 5/8 to fit onto the nipples ump and exhaust manifold so that does not help me a lot.
thanks

the larger hose runs from the forward outlet on the heater core to the water pump, and the smaller hose to the block

I have an article on heater core rebuilding for the early Glads in the tech section, may want to pop it open and clean out while you're messing around with it..

Agreed.
Due to our cabin air intake system the heater box accumulates an amazing amount of stuff inside.

It's then a good idea to put a screen over the air intake under the windshield.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
