Question Jeep and Chevy NP208 parts marriage

I have a Chevy NP208 bolted to the 700R4 it came with. I have a Jeep NP 208 which was bolted to the 727 it came with. I wanted the 700R4 to go with a transfercase with a passengerside drop so things seemed good.

Can I use the fixed yoke from the Jeep Np208 on the Chevy Np208?

Can I use the front output shaft from the Jeep Np208 on the Chevy Np208 to match with my stock driveshaft config?

You can use the chevy input on any 208 case yes, but you need to check on the clocking of the jeep 208 on your chevy tranny, might need a clocking ring, unless you want to raise the tcase to make it flat.
the fixed output however is another matter, usually passenger side tcases are easy to exchange parts from like dodge and chevy, minor work needed, Ford and jeep need too much work to get the tailhousing to bolt up and work properly with a chevy case, I tried with a ford on the chevy and it was too much work, ended getting dodge parts and it was much easier.

I *think* you can take out the gear inside the NP208 that mates to the output shaft of the tranny and swap them and your Jeep NP208 should bolt to the 700R4...

Looks like I'll end up tearing them both down together to see what can be done. It is not the end of the world if I end up with a complete Chevy Np208; it mates to the 700r4 already and has the outputs to match my axle pumpkin locations. Thanks!

I have heard that you can use the input side case half of a chevy 208, with the chevy input gear, and the back half of a jeep 208 case. there may still be a clocking issue, and will need a clocking ring, but it mates up.
