where to get new headlight adjusters

My cherokee's headlights are shining in the ditch so I took the grill off to see whats wrong. Turns out the plastic the adjuster screws go into are stripped or broken. Does anyone know where I can find replacements? I can't seem to find any.

Sometimes you can find these in the HELP! section of your parts store. Baxters in my neck of the woods has a huge selection and another off brand (can't recall the name) providing all kinds of doo-dads, and I'm certain I've seen there there - not sure if they're exactly correct though. Else, yard diving always works.

everytime i go junking i look for these rascals but 9 times out of ten they are dryrotted and break at exactly the moment you get the beam aligned...so i devised a fix...not pretty but works like a champ...you'll needa small peice of rubber vacuum tubing, and a small plastic drywall anchor with a screw ...insert the tubing into the hole in the back shroud thingy...then insert the anchor into the tube( this expands the rubber enough to grab the hole rim...then replace the factory adjuster screw with the drywall screw and screw it in...it will expand the assembly nicely and is very snug voila!!..no more adjuster probs....ill take a pic of the one i did on my 83 and post tomorrow to show exactly what i mean..

Which shape are your headlights and what kind of grill? I'm parting out an '87 Grand Wag and all must go. Check out the pics and post up if you see something you need. I can get detailed pics if you need them as well.

I just went through this Friday, I removed the headlight bucket and wleded up new tabs and solved my problem forever. I couldnt find any locally so I made my own. If you have a welder and two 10-28 nuts and a 4" piece of 3/8" tubing you can fix it yourself. I bought my stuff at HD for less than $3
