Took the trash to the recycle station yesterday with the Wag.
To get it started took a jump,
but it got my trash on to the dump.

I added resistors to get the OEM oil gauge working, trouble shot the low out put alternator, got a PowerMaster on order to replace it, added and extended carb link for the trans kick down and adjusted that. I still have to install the new alternator and shorten the rear drive shaft as its too long after the D60 install.

About 475 miles in 27 hours

400 on the I-State.

About 47 miles of this:

About 28 miles of this:

All for 3 dead mice, 1 water filter, a few beers and one decent poser shot:

Sounds like a good trip to me - did you throw some beef on the grille Tad?

Got the wood up the hill and unloaded this morning.

with this load...

and stack out front - some nice reds in the juniper...

Put the seat back in, sprayed the rusty spots on the floor with rust converter, replaced the pass side blown running light bulbs. As soon as I can get the brakes bled I can get it inspected!

Installed rear seat shoulder seat belts, installed a heat wrap on the starter, and finally wired the winch.

Pam and I put new points, rotor, cap, and plugs in the '68 Super. I worked on the turn signal switch a bit but still can't get it to work quite right. I have to dig into this deeper. Replaced a fuse I found burned out and now all the little indicator lights on the super's console work when changing 4wd from one gear to another......cool!!!
Took the super on a 100 mile round trip for fun and to have an upholsterer look at it and see what he thinks he wants to do the interior. Seems like a good place to start.

Put the battery charger on the '89 since it went dead over the past few months due (I think) to the extreme cold and general crappy weather we've had here in Ne.

It was nice to get back out into the garage and work on some stuff.

Alan

Mounted an Amplifier, and some speakers in my wag. Driving around with out music is very disturbing in down town LA, CA.
If you don't have tunes you start to notice how much this city sucks!

Got the Exhaust re-done. Sounds AWESOME!! 2 1/2 inch with a SUPER TURBO muffler. Also, installed my AM/FM/CB radio! And replaced my front pinion seal that has been leaking! Productive weekend!!

Put a different carb on the 83 waggy. The power valve was gone. go figure!!!
It had been running really rich. Had to move all three JEEPs into the back yard so I could have a group of people over to work in the driveway.

Installed a "c-note" horn from a 1967 Cadillac. 4 horns total - sounds amazing!

Installed the 3/4 ton front end, H2 wheels and tires, 4" bump stops, new ball joints. Also, lubed all the bearings and steering--The J10 runs much better with the 3:73 gears

Finally got the choke readjusted so I'm not spewing black fumes for a half hour after starting.
