Yoke question

Will the yoke on the D44 front axle fit in the front output of the D20 T-case?

The reason I ask is that I just went to put the DS I had made up for my truck and the ears on the shaft hit the inside of the yoke on the T-case but has plenty of clearance on the axle. I have a good bit of lift and runnin a T-18 so the front shaft is at a pretty steep angle.

I'm trying to get this thing done for the fall fling and this is the only thing stopping me!

Any help would be appreciated.
