Lift

Here is my 91 waggy with the BJ's 6" all spring lift and some 33x12.5 trxus mts on 10" wide steel wheels. I trimmed 1"+ out of the rear fenders, filled the gap with silcone, and covered it with plastic trim. No rubbing at full stuff.

'69 J-3000. 15 X 8 spokes with 4.5 BS. Q Buckshots. 3" body. re-arched + 2 heavy leaves in the front gained 5" over what it was , it was sagging pretty bad, so it is most likely 4" over stock. Rear shackle flip . Very little trimming. And yes , what I do with it , it will rub a bit when worked out. Nothing major.

Sorry, don't have a better side shot of it yet. Now that I've added 230lbs of bumper & winch to the front, the front springs seem to sag a little more each time I drive it, so the front is slated for 1.5" add-a-leafs soon.

hey guys im pretty new to the site, hence the no pic yet. i have a question as far as tire sizes. i got a set of old 31x10.50's ond 15x8 chevy rims from a friend. they fit great no rub or anything. my question is.... would i be able to stuff 32" tires on same rims on my 88 grand wagoneer with any rubbing or would that be too much tire? i would like to lift but since i cant afford that yet i was looking for decent ground clearance via bigger tires. future plans include SOA, shackle flip with 1" block(make up for wag sag) and just enough fender trimming to fit 37's. still working on ideas for motor, lol. thanks for any info you can come up with. this site is awesome with the amounts of ideas and helpful people. thanks again..... brandon

Brandon -

You should be able to get 32" in; however, you may have to trim a little at the front dependent on what you want to do with the truck. If you are driving around town, you should not have any problem, but trail riding may be a different story! For about $250 and a Saturday, you could fix it up nice if you want to get out cheap.
