Y-pipe availability

Does anyone know if the Y-pipe for Buick 350 powered rigs are still available new, or is this something I'm going to have to take to a shop and have made?
I'm in the middle of putting my PTO on, and found it won't bolt up without removing the p.o. added driver’s side exhaust pipe. I've already pulled the D20's pan and I really don't feel like putting everything back together the way it was, but I obviously can't cut the pipe, install the pto then drive to a shop to have the exhaust fixed.

Thomas, these turn up every now and then NOS. Might shoot Zack an email at www.zmjeeps.com and give him a part # if you have the list.

I know NAPA sells the y-pipes for later era(360's) FSJ's and they're made by Walker. Maybe try to google a site/addy/phone number for a Walker representative and ask? If anyone is still making them it's prolly Walker.

Thanks Joe. I need this Jeep to back on the road soon, so it would be nice if this turns out to be an orderable part.

I was just under the Jeep and I remembered flexi pipe. I don't like it, but it would work temporarily.

I think I'll go that route and call up Walker or take the truck to a friends shop and have the exhaust reworked, which ever is cheaper.

Thomas they actually make some pretty decent flexpipe today. Not the junk we ran in the 60's. Might be an option if the price is right. As you well know in the rust belt not even the "aluminized" crap steel exh pipe lasts long. If you've gotta replace the pipe every few years anyway the new age flex may just be an economic option? Material costs prolly aren't much different but the no need for shop time/bending may make the difference? Just a thought.

Well, my father works at a pipe and tubing company. Damaged stainless is scrapped, and once and a while it finds its way into the back of his truck, so I'm going to try and go that route.

I'm going to head to NAPA this weekend and get some flexpipe just for now.
Almost thinking of just making a y pipe with it by cutting a hole in the other pipe, welding a adapter onto it and running the flexpipe to it.
