M715 Guys Quick Q

I have an old school M416 trailer w/the same style lights as the M715 tail light(One big red one, 2 narrow blackouts). Anyways it still has the 24V bulbs in so when hooked up to 12power the lights are dim to say the least. If I swapped in 12V bulbs would this correct the dimness problem? Are the bulbs a special 24V size or universal?

Only askin because I know somebody here has got to have done a 12V 'upgrade' on their truck.

Merry Christmas and thanks for the help.

I have a similar trailer (M105). I swapped the light bulbs from 24v to 12v and it worked fine after that.
