J- trucks with woodgrain

Just curious what years were available with woodgrain trim. Ran across one, razor grille, woodgrain is wag width, tapers up fast on fender, IIRC by the time it gets to top rear corner of flare. I seem to remember it was the Pioneer trim package.

Thanks Tony. Really faded red truck and wood is really hard hit. Might have to see if available and condition. Behind fence at a local shop.

The Pioneer package was an option over most the the production of J10/J20. Only in 1975 was the wood grain wide like the Wagoneer which was also a 1975 Wagoneer Custom feature.

1974 year J10/J20 Pioneer had this wood arrangement. I am pretty sure it was also used in 76. The Pioneer was not always about wood grain.

This topic has been beat on a few times...

Thanks Flint. I'll verify year if they let me have a look.

Edit... As per the linked thread, I pulled up a '76 brochure. Showed a truck with the wide, but not specifically captioned as 76, but did show a waggy with the wide captioned as a 76. So possibly was a two year deal, but as we know, they did things their own way sometimes.

Welcome.
I have read/heard a couple times that the wide wood grain was offered in 76. I have not seen enough to agree but that's just me being a prick.
