REAR PINION ANGLE
What are you guys running for a rear pinion upward angle? I think 8 degrees up is about right and the engine about 8 degrees down.
Does this sound about right?

That sounds right unless a CV joint is involved, then the other joint should be at about zero degrees regardless of the angle through the CV joint.

Some will recommend setting the pinion 1 degree down, as it will raise slightly under load with leaf springs.

8* sounds a bit high, as the pumpkin will also rotate up a little, when under torque while driving.
Just make sure to check your math before locking in your final answer
