Too bad you aren't close to Seattle. I have an AX-15 (external slave style, but missing some bell bolts and the throwout arm and slave) and 23 spline NP231 for sale along with a 6 cyl flywheel (needs balanced to the 360 then you can use the better XJ style starter) I even have pedals

No real info but for a hyd clutch I would go with an external slave like on CJ's. In my experience with hyd clutches is that the slave is the weak maint prone item in the system so an external slave makes life a lot easier for maint. Later when you do your scheduled brake flushes don't forget to do a clutch flush too.

You really only get one choice with the AX-15/NV3550 clutch...the factory setup. There is an external and an internal style. Definitely go with the external style (dependent on year and bellhousing). It is not technically serviceable...but you can flush it and bleed it backward. It's a bit of a pain, but doable.
