Source for Heater Parts

I am refurbishing the blower motor plenum and heater core box (77 Cherokee 401). There is a dense foam seal between the blower plenum and heater core box that is too brittle to reuse. This part is not listed by our most common GW vendors. Does anyone know of a source for this part, or maybe an alternative material?

And another question - what is the caulk-like material that seals the boxes to the firewall?
