New FSJ Owner

Hey all,
My name is Chris and I finally bought a FSJ. I found a 1978 Cherokee Chief Wide track S in Michigan a few weeks back. Barn Find with 30,000 miles on it. Already started on the resto. I'll try and post some pics soon. I live in Northern KY (About 15 minutes south of Cincinnati OH). Glad to be here and look forward to learning as much as possible about these Jeeps.

Awesome! Welcome, Chris. You'll find lots of great information on here and even better folks! Looking forward to seeing it come together and hearing about the adventures!

Most definitely post a ton of pics in the barn and throughout the resto process, please!

Rob,
Unfortunatley the PO had already removed it from the barn with a bobcat and had it waiting in the drive when I pulled up. I'm working on attaching photos but we all know that its always a pain to try and upload anything to a forum for whatever reason. I'll work on it this morning.

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. I can’t wait to see your progress. 30,000 miles wow, that’s nothing.

Thanks, I'm hoping after I finish replacing the ignition components it will fire right up. I'll keep everyone updated. All new repair panels have arrived so as soon as I get it running I'll start cutting out the cancer in it.
