"87 vs '90 GW Engine Wiring Harnesses

Other than the starter realy on the fender are these harnesses the same? Thinking of swapping the one from my '87 to my '90 due to PO damage/splicing. Thanks.

I had both years, the plugs for the ignition module were different. And isn't the AC compressor different? Don't know if that affects the harness.

There are several small differences, it won't be plug it in and go, you'll need to make changes to the '90 harness.

I had an 87 "parts" GW and drive a 89. My ignition module went bad. I pulled the one off the 87 and went to put it on the 89 No go. 87 has round connections and 89 has the "new" square watertight connections.
Aren't "improvements" fun.
