Cam gear disaster (Averted)

Just thought i would clean up the gears for the new motor. A quick pass through the glass bead cabinet and a crack i could not see before becomes quite easy to see. I now have a nice clean paper weight.

Good catch! I thankfully had access to a bead tumbler and used it to clean many parts when i restored my J4000. I found several cracks in my shock mount towers and brackets for my power steering pump but finding that crack on the cam gear saved you in the long run.
