My transmission is slowly starting to go and I was wonder which would be the best route to take. Should I get rebuilt, get a remanufactured one or get adapaters and put in th400 (?). My drivetrain is all stock with a 360.

Swapping to a TH400 will be alot of work, since your front axle pumpkin is on the wrong side for TH400 equipped vehicles. I would see if there's a 727 at your local junkyard-there probably is, and cheap.
