Oil leaking around intake bolts?

Has anyone had the problem of oil pooling around the intake manifold bolts on a 360 with an Edelbrock 2131? I've noticed it since i changed the intake, and my current strategy of just ignoring it has proven ineffective. Should I put some RTV on the bolts? Should I put it on the threads or just under the heads?

Also, you Holley experts, What is the thing my finger is pointing at do?

My 73'J4000 always has a oil puddle on that same area of the intake manifold
It has a motocraft 2150 on and is converted to LPG ,so it has nothing to do with the carb i guess!?

And the thing your finger is pointing at ,could be something from the chock mechanism?

I believe you are pointing @ what holley calls a ford kickdown lever.
It's not needed in a Jeep.

You could try pulling the bolts one at a time , cleaning them up and putting sealer on them. it's not going to hurt anything.

Mine also leaks, it's a stock 360 manifold. I tried to torque it but still leaks.

Whats leaking exactly though? The intake is under vacuum, so it shouldn't be coming from the valley, correct?

Are the bolts threaded in a dead hole or do they see oil pressure for some reason?

I have seen valve covers leak down and fill those valleys. Odd though, it usually leaves a trail...

I'd have to look at a set of heads but I don't think they're blind holes.

I can see how a bit of oil vapor might work up there but not a pool. you must be getting a lot of blow by ?

PCV can only handle so much, you might check your breather cap to make sure you're not building a little pressure.

I don't think the cap is an issue. I'm getting blow by into the air filter. Guess a ring job is in my future.
