But of course. Over at the M715zone.com Under modified threads. Titled "the longest build thread ever, or at least it seems like it" Same username. Funny my first post here had no picture when I looked a second ago.

What have I done?
Stripped it. Fitted a buick 350, and a J truck long input shaft to a T-98 and to a divorced International NP205. Rear Dodge Dana 70, front Dana 60 from a K30.
Rockers and part of the rear floor got replaced. The white 70 J3000 cab donated the parts Marc. Rockers came from Melnicks and are by far the most accurate repair panels out there. The donated core support being removed is why the white truck is not savable.
I also fitted a El Camino tank under the front of the bed, a 41-48 high capacity chevy tank under the back of the bed. 38 gallon capacity before gas cans. Check out the rear added OEM and highly modified filler neck to mirror the front original filler neck. That was fun doing that. I sewed up the soft top for it from scratch using a trashed M715 top from a zone member. I will make a better one later. That was my first soft top and has some minor issues.
I am currently fitting several custom printed rocker switches for the dash. And converting a FSJ heater from the vacuum can door controls to a push pull knob control. I just submitted drawings for the round decals for the heater controls. I should have them soon. Very nice custom stuff. I also just finished a 2.5 inch dual exhaust system with ceramic coated headers that came with the buick motor. It is going to be a bad arse truck.
Anyway, check out the link and enjoy.

Here is a sort of current pic on the lift. There will not be that much apparent lift to it. It settles a bit as I would hope when set on the ground. I don't want a tall truck.
The site is not letting me post a pic...

The truck is getting assembled. Then it will be taken apart for clean up and paint. I need to finish it soon. I am getting involved with a group that restores forest fire lookouts. This truck will be hauling materials and tools for restoring historic lookouts in very remote places.

I had practically the same experience with the WA DOL last fall. I just mentioned it here:
http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showt...=190516&page=2
My thoughts exactly, they're doing their best to throw a wet blanket on the party. She quoted me the rule, which was something like this: if the purchase price on the bill of sale is more than 20% below the vehicle's FMV, you need to supply a supplemental affidavit from the seller. Something like 20%; could be plus or minus.
And the process is lopsided. You've seen the affidavit; basically they want you to go back to the seller and tell them what a bad deal they struck for themselves, and oh, by the way, would you please sign off on this so I can get my title? It's a stupid proposition. Better have your wallet handy.
I don't think they understand people who like to fix old things.

Boy when it rains it pours.
I was at a mechanic's shop today and found this in the back 40.
Look at that hard top!! I thought this was the coolest truck I've seen in a while.

That is pretty cool. The more I work on mine, the more I like it. It looks like the roof was molded to accept a beacon. Like a fire truck or??
I sure miss my wife. We were supposed to go cruise all the back roads in the m truck I am building. I will see her again some day. That is the most important thing going on. This truck stuff is only filler.
