double cardan joint

is the center of the double carden joint replacable ? if so how do you get it out?

found the u joints & center piviot ball at napa, what I am seeing the pin on the shaft is not sevicable , just the ball set up . How do you get it out?

If you have access to a lathe, you can build up the bad spots with a welder and turn them down to the correct size. I've seen it before.

I have a press, but have also used a large C-clamp and a couple of sockets. When you remove the u-joint that attaches to the t-case, it'll perty much just fall out. It's a PITA, and a spare set of hands is helpful. Then remove the "H" piece and then pull the other joint and reassemble in reverse.
Just have to take your time and make sure none of the needle bearings fall during assembly.
