I'm musing about a possible Cherokee build-up. I'd like to use the following components: 360, t18, np208, HD D44 front, all from a J20 donor truck. For the rear axle, I was thinking about using a GM 14 bolt rear from a dually truck or a suburban...

My question is: Does anyone know the width of the 14 bolt axle from a 3/4 ton suburban? from a dually pickup? spring perch locactions?

Another option is to narrow both sides of the rear J20 d60 to fit the chero... but this would be $$..

..any other help and/or info would be usefull thanks!!!

I can't help with the dually set up, but I do know that the SRW 14ff is 67" WMS to WMS. I Don' remember if the dually is alittle shorter or longer? Sorry
Starting to miss the addiction!

There is two versions of the SRW 14FF. The pickup version and the van version. The van version is wider afaik. Then I think there is two dually ones also. Standard and then a extra wide one for bigger van trucks (u-hauls and such) I believe. FSJeeper is the guy to ask, hes the expert on em

Cab and chassis drw 14 bolts hare 63.25-ish inches wms-wms. they are otherwise identical to the srw truck axles except for the brakes and the wheel hubs.
