quadratrac vac swithc

been thinking about possibly modifying my Quadratrac engagement system from vacuum operated to mechanically operated.
Has anyone succeeded in doing this? if so how?

I have seen some chatter on this topic but don't remember any write ups in recent time.

If you have Facebook, most the chatter I have seen is here.

This is old but shows one modified in Norway:

Same here. I remember reading a long long time ago about someone that was able to make a bracket and threaded some all thread on the end of the motor shaft, then used a choke cable to actuate it but I don't remember where I saw it or the details. I have a rear QT case half you can have to work on if you want to pay for shipping. It will let you figure out a bracket and anything else you might need without taking your truck out of service...
