Rock Auto
I received a discount code from Rock Auto and they asked me to share it with anyone I know who works on cars. So what better group of folks could there be than you. Code is3572296732534103 You enter it above the How did you hear about us? space on the checkout page above your payment information. Do not enter any text in that space or the discount will not apply. Code is only valid for on line orders, and must be entered before order is submitted. The discount is 5 and there is no limit on order size or the number of orders. The discount expires on November 8, 2015 so dont wait. Regards,AF

I quite trust the quality of Rock Auto. I have bought quite a few of their items and feel very stable. Furthermore, I found quite a few Rock Auto discount codes. I am a low income person so everything has to be a lot of consideration in terms of quality and price.

I use Rock auto a lot. My lift has dozens of RA magnets on it. The only time it is not a good deal is when you have items from 3-4 different warehouses. Then multiple charges for shipping removes the savings.

Yeah, for stock stuff Rock Auto isn't too bad. It's kind of like using local stores, only you're the one using the computer system, so you don't have to argue with the guy behind the counter about what the part is off of/what other vehicles to try (if for instance you did any upgrades)...I know I've run into that where they swear by the computer and the computer is wrong

I love RockAuto but you have to be REALLY careful what you order from them. I cannot tell you how many times I had to have my Cherk towed home because some Cheapnese made part I got from RA failed in a year or less. My chest freezer is coated in RA magnets.
The way I use RA is I find the quality part I want (say a Mevotech Ball Joint, or Moog busing), then I search all the interwebz for that exact part number and almost always land on RA because they are almost always the cheapest after shipping, taxes, and discount code (except against Amazon but I hate giving that company more money than it already has so I will buy from RA anyway).
I think RA is also really good about having parts in stock that others don't. Their "Info" button is also super helpful for cross referencing what that part also fits on (if you want to source it at a wrecking yard/craigslist). I absolutely love reading the tech mistakes on their newsletter, too; makes me feel human.

Every auto parts store/ maker is at the whim of the manufactures who make the parts. I've heard and seen many examples of poor manufacturing of parts as of late. unfortunately, they don't make parts of the quality that the use too.
