AC parts interchangability

The fan switch on my AC unit fried out and killed some of my wiring a couple months ago. I can find the temp control but I cant seem to find a replacement fan switch for the AC unit. I know the YJs AC unit has a similar control unit, will the fan switch for a YJs AC unit work in our FSJs? Becasue I can find those all day long.
