My totally stock '88 GW (118,000 mi.) has two problems.
One: the rear 3.31 Dana 60 differential (limited-slip) has begun to "jerk" occasionally in tight turns and may also be the source of a rythmic "thump" as I travel along at 65 - 70 mph. Plenty of limited-slip fluid (changed every few years), correct size wheels & tires, rear diff gets no hotter than front, hubs are cool. Vehicle only off-road once in its life (about 12 miles). Suggestions?
Two: my wipers have suddenly begun acting herky-jerky when operating on a wet windshield and especially when NOT on an intermittent setting. I suspect a faulty governor, poor power connection or motor going bad. Any experience with this?
