I've only looked at the tailgate wiring but you should be able to wire the second switch parallel to the first.

There are concrete dyes but they are acidic and will weaken the grout. Might try Rit dye for clothes. Have lotsa space under the stove,...

So the new grout is too light. Any proven ideas on making it dark grey?

The stuff the major grout makers sell is paint marketed as dye. Wears and may peel.

I put in Lexus seats. Major cutting of the floor to get them down to the same height. Doors were off which really helps. If they are coming off for paint consider removing them now.

Scribing a line around the hinge to get the location is a good idea. Maybe masking tape?

I drilled a hole in all the hinges through the body before removing them for paint.

Or lower the strike on the jamb.

Whichever keeps the body lines...

The float I'm using has a rubber face so it's pretty much a squeegee when on edge. Maybe a little stiffer. They used to say it was for epoxy grout but I think they don't make that distinction...
