I did go for a alloy radiator for my 73 J4000 a couple years ago
and never had a issue with fitting and performing.
Will also get one for the CJ-5 when the time is there!

About the alloy radiators ,I bought a three row one from eBay a couple years ago and it fitted perfect and cooling performance was also perfect.
