With 4.10 gears your highway rpm at 75mph would be 2200rpm and with 4.56 it would be 2450. I'm guessing your 360 and gas tank would like 4.10s better on the highway, but 4.56 are very livable.

I haven't upgraded a J20 D60, but I've put 1350 yokes on other Dana 60s. My latest D60 has a forged u-bolt yoke from east coast gear supply.

Well, the time has come to move to the next rig. This year we raced in 6 of the 7 TREC races and finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and one DNF. Not too bad, but ended up 5th in overall season...

You can get a really cheap TBI plenum (with tube and junky air cleaner) for the 88 Chevy on fle-bay. The plenum is pretty reasonable. Oh did I mention cheap?

I know there was a difference between my 75 Wag and the 88 Wag. Not sure where the cut-off is, so maybe your 75 is different. Who knows with these things.

My rag joint / steering couple is toast in my 88 Wag. I can find replacements for up to 86 easy enough, but after that the info goes dry.

I like the gate action of our Winters shifter (aka Art Carr).

Can't go wrong with either in my book.

I ran a 1-wire for a while. I prefer the 3 wire setup so you can see if it thinks its charging or not.
