center pin to center pin measurements?
I must be a tard and can not figgure out how to properly phrase this since I can't find it. I am sure it is here somewhere? I need to know the measurements from spring center pin to spring center pin on a narrow trac front dana 44 waggy axle...Anyone able to help me out? Please??
How about the same numbers for a rear model 20?

Anybody...Only thing I found that was close was a post that said "about 32"s "...that correct?

You are talking about the side to side distance for the spring pins/perch spacing?
What I found written down was 32" front, 44" rear for 75-91 wag/chero's.
Something tells me it's actually like 32 1/4" up front but it's been a long time since I set one up and had to measure.
I do know there is no difference between the location for NT and WT (wag/chero's) that extra width/distance is in the axle itself, not the mounting location.

Yeah Tad... That is what I'm after. IIRC it is close to 32...but like you I swear it was a little fraction off that too.?. Like GM axles don't bolt rite in kinda thing...? maybe I am mistaken..but with Jeeps, who ever knows.LOL!
While I got you on here...Is there any way, short of cutting the long tube, to bring those closer to a a CJ's width? Like using you SOA brackets and I don't know...shimming them or offsetting the holes or something?

The GM front bolts right into our 75-91 rigs, the Dodge is about 1/4" wider or so, but folks do get those installed also.

I do sell some perches to the CJ crowd, most of those folks outboard their springs to match our width up front and use our NT front 44's. In the rear they just move the perches and use their stock locations in an SOA fashion to match the front height gained up front.

Yea, maybe it was just numbers overlaod on my part? The Dodge axle sounds right. So here is what I'm trying to do...feel free to tell me I'm nuts.
I'm looking at a *Gasp* baby jeep (Scrambler). And since I am kinda stuck here in Iraq I am doing some "bench building". Kinda like the racing minus the fun...heehee.
But I am trying to do what ever groundwork possible before laying my hands on it when I return. My idea was to refrain, if possible, from out boarding the springs. I must take this Jeep to Germany with me and its tires must not poke past the flares. I thought if I could keep from outboarding I could run wheels with more backspacing and still not have them rub so much?

I think you would be ok with wag axles, outboarding and running some deeper wheels, as long as all that cleared the steering components.
There are the Scrambler frame dimensions, 27.5" center to center at the front frame, 2.25" out on each side puts it at 32".
