Wheel covers

I have the original steel wheels with the chrome AMC wheels covers.

I would like to make them look a little better and the red & blue paint is worn off and wondered what the colors actually are so it will look original.

If anyone knows the specific colors and maybe a good place to buy the paint. Spray can would be easier as I do not have a spray gun just yet.

I don't have my paint cans anymore, but "One Shot" pin stripe/sign paint is a great paint for all things like wheels, and emblems.

Ok, great. Thanks for the tip! Never heard of that brand before.

Now I just need the colors.

Another idea is testors model paint. The little square bottles or the round ones. Just be sure it's enamel, not acrylic.

Take a cover with you to match to color of the bottom of the jar.

Will last 3-4 years before having to redo.

Yeah, maybe.

There isn't much color left on them anymore but maybe enough to get a color match.
