Tires rubbing?
Was wondering how you guys run larger tires on your vehicles and I know many have lift kits but thats not my issue.

When I bought my 74' Cherokee it has 31x10.5 -15" tires and the rubbed the frame when turned sharp?

You guys use spacers or off set wheels?

Running 235/75-15's now

I got my wheels used on Craigslist for dirtcheap. $125 for 5 matching steel wheels. The backspacing on mine are terrible because they were from a Datsun mini-truck. I run spacers in the back, and have run them for a couple years, no problem. Lots of people hate spacers but I have not really had any problems with them. I found my spacers, also on craigslist, for cheap. I think I paid $25 for two, inch and a half spacers from a Tundra. Then I had to do dump 10 more bucks for 12 metric lugnuts at Costco. I now mave SAE lugnuts in the front and metric in the rear. :rolleyes:

All that to say: Yeah, I run spacers in the back. I have a completely different wheel well than you so the sizes are not important.

I've read repeatedly about 10.5" tires rubbing on full lock. You could go down an inch on the width of the tires to 31x9.5 from what I've read.

There should be a stop on one of the knuckles you can adjust. The size of the tire does limit the turning angle. I would note that rubbing against the frame at full lock is not particularly harmful, just annoying.
