Winch bumper question

Can anyone with a 66-73 Jeep Special Equipment Ramsey winch bumper on a Gladiator/Truck get me a pic of the mounts where the winch subframe bolts to the truck frame?

Need to know if they had brackets that went down the side of the truck frames like the later ones did.

Thanks.

I was hoping someone would provide the information you seek. I have what you are looking for but the truck is in a tight spot and difficult to get too. I am however willing to attempt a picture if you still need one.

Thanks for the offer, another member helped me out via PM. It doesn't look like they had any bracket tying the main rectangular winch "box" into the sides rails of the trucks frame.

That is curious.

You asked for a sample from a 1966-1973. Is there a difference in the design of the earlier trucks? My truck is a 1963 or 64 I can't remember which.

Back in 1982 I bought a new Ramsey winch and the Ramsey bumper and mounting kit for my J10, my first FSJ (which by the way I still have). I remember the long brackets on each side that attached to the weld nuts in the frame that are used for the bumper.

63-5 used very different brackets. When they stared using Saginaw steering boxes (mounted at just behind the front crossmember) they had to redesign the winch bumper.
