FSJ ARB Bull bar front winch bumper

I have not found a front winch bumper for my GW that I like. I like some of the ARB designs. I was wondering if anyone has tried to adapt a bumper that was meant for another application to the GW. My thoughts were if the width was correct or close and the front wrap around angles were right, wouldn't it mean simply adapting new mounting points?

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts on this.

This is a TJM bumper for a Toyota Gen 3 4-runner. I am putting it on a chief and so far it looks like it's going to be just about the perfect length. I know ARB makes a lot of bumpers for these 4 runners, so you shouldn't have a problem finding a style you like.

sorry to hijack. got any more pics of your rig? I'm liking what little green I can see. I'm going with synergy green when the time comes but always curious how it looks on a fsj.

I don't know how good of an idea it will give you, since the previous owner added some "flavor" to the original paint.

the land rover 80 series bumpers are the ones that are the correct width. there is a j truck with one on it somewhere on this forum. It looks pretty sick i must say!

I will take a look to see if I can find a part number for you tomorrow. I'm going to try and get started on it this weekend, so I'll keep you updated with pics of the progress.

I'm not 100% on what needs to be modified. I know how it mounts to the truck/wag has to be changed. I have searched the forum but I can't find the thread where a guy put one of those bumpers on a j truck. It looked great though. Maybe if you search it you'll have better luck than me.
