fouling plugs, misfires

Tired of this misfires, fouls plugs constantly. Only fix is to change plugs and start it up and rev the bejesus out of it. Seems to run fine all summer, but come winter it wont start worth a crap and when it does it fouls the plugs. What can i change to make this go away. it's a 79/360/T400.

Runs ok when weather is warm, crappy when cold - sounds choke related.

Assuming you have a stock carburetor setup... Have a look HERE and look at the last few pages on setup and tuning, especially the choke and choke pulloff steps. Let us know how that works out for you.
