You can look up parts by application on their website. Blue Streak is made by Standard Motor Parts. They are owned by a bigger company - name I forget, But if you google Standard Motor and Blue Streak, it will come up.
Now the trick IIRC is that Standard Motor adds an X at the end of the part number to identify Blue Streak parts.
If they don't make the points for the application you need, check out the Neihoff brand (owned by same corporation IIRC). I just bought a Neighoff cap and rotor for the '85 GW (no Blue Streak Cap and Rotor for this distributor). The Neihoff cap and rotor were made in the USA - All brass terminals and nice housing. A little bit more flashing than I would have liked to see. The cap box said Ultra but the part number was just plain ole FF77. The rotor (FF44) wasn't quite as nice. Brass tip, but no brass plating on the contact spring. The old Echilin (NAPA) rotor was better and the cap was equal. I'm just not sure the current Echilin stuff is as good quality. It might be - just don't know. Anyway, I was very pleased with Neihhoff cap and rotor. Much better than a lot of what I've seen out there.Last edited by nograin; 01-08-2008, 09:52 PM.'85 Grand Wagoneer
