It's from the service manual or "tsm", I believe I got it off www.oljeep.com, he has a bunch of nice resources there including the tsm for my 76 which I downloaded...

think the sender setup is going to be fine! I transferred the leftover fuel from the old coffin tank, powered up and the level read ~7/16 ish of a tank which would be pretty close to what I have in there, plus it seems to always show a bit more fuel when the rig is actually running. Happy!

I had a harbor freight hole saw kit designed for wood in my cabinet, it has 6 or 7 different sizes in there, figured I'd wreck one making this hole, well it breezed through it in no time and came out just fine!

marked holes for the gasket, predrilled them small, then used some self-tapping screws to secure it all in place, oh, and a bunch of fuel resistant RTV, that's what the blue stuff is...

Do you think that version of fuel sending contraption would work on the Blazer 25 gallon tank? I already have one of those but will be using an external fuel pump (still carb'd). The tank looks exactly the same except doesn't hang down as low.

                    i dont think so..

isnt 87 the year AMC went from ford gauges to chrsler gauges?

ford being 10 ohms full and chrsler being 280!
