I wanna say yes the boot is stock. The truck was well cared for and had all the bells and whistles for the day. I had it lengthened, but the guy I use is top notch.
Thanks for the compliments, I think I finally found the perfect rim for her. The tires are still questionable.

I bought them for $100 off marketplace,. A guy on the other site said he believes they are an 80s-90s American Racing rim. I will get more when I have them off again. Which will be soon, I didn't get enough AF in them and the bounce. They feel like they have a very soft sidewall. They claim to be 10 ply.

I LOVE those 8 lug wagonwheel rims..they look extra 'spokey' for some reason.
I assume you have extra rear x-members, but if not I have one already removed (from a 65 J300). Pretty simple to make one out of 2 pieces of plate and some gas pipe though..
Yeah, I love those rims too. Been looking for some for my J truck. Came with some "cool" racing rims..., awful!
"Jeepjake" on this site 20-years ago, did the first Ouray Invasion (stuck on Imogene pass, wrote a story about it), then subsequent Uninvasion the next year. Been working on Jeeps 50-years, have had a Jeep of one rendition or another all my adult life.

They fit the truck perfect I've been searching for something just like them. If I could find a set like those I would snag em fast! If you look on the back side of the wheels the manufacturer, size, and possibly back spacing info should be embossed or stamped into the wheel. Keep us updated on how it goes.

Got paid, so first thing was to fix the box so I can use it again. It has the pull out shelf for my welder.
I got 2 gallons of flat black matte and a gallon of bedliner. Now I just need enough TIME to get it done. She is getting better front fenders and hood, which will give me the bottom front corners of the fenders to finally build a front bumper.
Hoping to get it painted in the next few weeks.

OPINION, what do you guys think of the Dodge mirror? Should i keep trying to mount them, or are they going to look goofy?
I like them for their function, they have always been my favorite out of everything I've ever driven.

It's always good to see pictures of your work truck!
It sucks that someone hit it , but glad you got paid and you could repair it.
Was only the corner of the utility bed hit ,or also some damage to the lower corner of the cab?
And about the mirrors , they look big but if you like them and they work for you
Make them also work on the Jeep truck!
99' Dodge ram 2500 4x4 crew cab 5.9 Cummins ,backup work truck for now
73' Jeep J4000 (named Heep or Desert Dragon) amc 360 V8 converted to LPG with T15/D20 (was my daily work truck for thirteen years and is getting major overhaul at the moment!)
80' Jeep cj5 350 V8 Chevy/sm420/D300 project
70/71 Jeep J4000 parts truck with Buick 350
Former vehicles:
85' Volkswagen caddy mk1 1.6 diesel.
83 Toyota land cruiser BJ42 3.4 diesel.
PAINT IT?!?!? WHY?!?!?!? You'll ruin it!
Just kidding, if you are gonna paint it, I am sure it will come out awesome. I absolutely LOVE the look of this truck just the way it is! I just think it looks so cool as is.
I am a function over form person. If you like the mirrors, leave them. One of the old combat rules says "If it's stupid but it works, it isn't stupid". If your mirrors work, don't try to fix them.
