  • Selling Louise. Very Sad.

    It is with a heavy heart that I must sell Louise, my beloved 84 GW famous here for having the saggiest springs at Ouray I.

    Basically, like many I expect, I have to let her go to someone who can give her the love she needs, as I cannot.

    Posted in For Sale.

    I want to thank everyone here for giving me advice and help over the last 8 years. Don, remember when the T-case exploded coming back to Denver on hwy 50? You carried me into the next town where I rented a U-Haul and car carrier to ferry to old girl back to Denver. The U-haul barely made it up Red Mountain Pass, then quit at the top. I had to 'dead stick' down the other side all the while planning when I ought to bail out! heheh

    Well, maybe another GW is in my future. Now I must focus on Homer (Louise's cousin. Louise Homer was my Great Grandmother), my 49 Dodge Roadster Convertable.

      ..

      Ernzo;

      Yup! I remember.
      ... The U-Hail guys in Gunnison were really nice Ex-Texans. I'm Getting where I don't like to get out in traffic, I feel safer doing Black Bear & Imogene than doing the 1,000 miles to get there! Yesterday thousands of people were gridlocked on a freeway for five hours in north Ft.Worth and the same thing happened in Dallas earlier in the year. They have 18 wheelers on the freeways actually falling off the overheads on peoples cars? People never knew what killed them. frankly I?d rather die falling off Black Bear?

      Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..
      I am now in the futures market,? hording if you will, buying things I will need in the future because the real American food inflation rate is approaching 20 percent And ?fixin? to get worse!

        Good to hear from you Don, and I agree that the traffic thing is getting like combat! Anyway, take care and I hope our paths can cross again someday!

        Best!
