I guess you looking for 8 lug drums!?
compare them with the dodge or Chevrolet drums , that's probably the best chance.

Don't grooves mean more surface area? Better braking.... Almost serious... Well regarding the 5 on 5.5 rear dana 60's. Those drums vanished a hundred years ago. However comma a late 1960's International Travelall has the same drum drilled for 5 on 4.5. Reclocking the drum and drilling for 5 on 5.5 could be a viable solution for the issue. I was going to pursue this but life happened. And I am left just wanting to drive my 06 4runner somewhere.

From investigation the D60 axle/frame on my truck is from 1975, these are the 8lug drums.
Still unobtanium, nobody local can even put in an order. Tried ordering from a few places online that claimed available. NOT the case.
Summitracing of all places had the lowest price, so I ordered a pair with estimated dropship date from Raybestos of 5/15.
Found a guy selling partial 71 Chevy C20/parts locally(same drums) that would have worked, he already sold them, claimed had over a dozen inquiries on just the rear drums, so it isn't just me looking.
He got more for his used drums than what I paid with special order of new ones!

You would think the chinese could at least make a crappy reproduction like everything else. I wish you good results with the order. What a deal...

Maybe the 8 lug drums from the second generation dodge ram trucks are a option!?

I did this with the Dana 60-2 on my 73' j4000 after searching and comparing drum dimensions.
You have to redrill to 5 on 5.5 and make the center hole in the drum larger on a lathe and cut a couple milimeters off the edge from the clamping area at he axle shaft.

I never installed the drums on the axle because the AMC 360 engine started to run on 7 cylinders.
And after compression testing it was clear that it was tired and done after thirteen years of daily driving.

early d6o drums are a different animal.
this thread is about later 8-lug drums
but it seems just as difficult to find these days
