With what little we know of the numbers of this "Sport Side" or Step side, or whatever.
The only known info to me is that from 1980 to 1983, there were 1289 made.
The first run in 1980 had brows, the rest did not, but if this number is true, we are an elite group!
Our friend Mudd in France, is as close to an FSJ historian as I know, has commented on this fact, not confirming it, but agreeing that it is what he has read.

Here is a picture if the trans to transfer case adaptor.
Could of been out of alinement a bit and that is why the splines stripped off.I may not be good but I am good at it.
