Can anyone who lives in the Ouray/Silverton/Telluride area give me real time intel on closure of the forest because of wildfires in that area? I have plans to attend the invasion, hopefully everything will be under control by then.

I live in Mancos about 30 miles from the 416 and Burro fires. The fires have had minimal growth this week. The rains from Hurricane Bud helped a little over the weekend but we are back to single digit humidity during the day since Wednesday. We have a Red Flag Warning today with gusty winds. It will probably be more of the same until monsoons come next month. The San Juan Nat'l Forest re-opened Thursday except for around the 416 and Burro fires. There are fire bans every place.
