I have a 1983 J10 360/727 I just installed a Holley sniper EFI. I have a concern about the kickdown linkage. Holley tells me they only support GM transmissions (nice) The linkage on the sniper has two holes for the trans one for TH350 and one for 200R4/700R4. My concern is linkage travel. Do I need an adapter?

No adapter required — I just used a 1/4” threaded stud/lock washer/nut combo from Summit. Used the hole that best approximated the hole on the 2150.
Downshifts perfectly; no issues at all. Didn’t have to adjust anything.

Originally posted by acct21It wasn't an exact match. One hole sets it a bit forward, and the other a bit further back of the throttle plate axis. I'll look and verify which one I used.Life happens while you are making plans...............
