    I'm Back - 1987 Waggy

    It's been awhile since I've been active here.

    Long story short, bought this rust free GW from Vernon, TX around 3 years ago. Went into the hospital the day it arrived, and have been down every since, not really been able to do anything on it. Finally, this spring, about a year after my last surgery, I felt good enough to start working on it. It's name is Vern and it's going to be nice when I'm done, hopefully before Christmas this year.

            Used a different guy for upholstery this time. Won't do that again. Not happy with results. Having them redone.

                  Went to change out the tailgate window switch on the dash, and realized the previous owner had broken the tabs off the backside of the headlight switch. Ended up replacing the whole dash insert.

                              Binding the carpet edges for the cargo area carpet.


                              Installed. The driver side panel is the original. I just put in in to see how it's going to look. I'll be making new panels and putting new carpet on them.
