  • Fresh air vent discovery!!

After removing both of my fresh air vent grilles and valves in my '78 J10, I reached into the passage to clean out the debris and found these. One in each side. They look like bones, but they're not. Seems like it might be some type of sealer or body filler, perhaps? Anyway, it was just a strange discovery. I expected leaves, dead bugs, dirt, and rust...nothing solid like these.

Anybody else found this weird stuff in their vents?

Can't see the picture , but I guess that they are some blobs of seam sealer from back in the day on the assembly line!?

Yeah, it's sealant. Other guys have had it. I didn't, I just had blobs of the stuff that was still adhered but not on the seam they were supposed to be sealing.
