You have a great example, I have a lot of jeep literature about the 1414X and i have a 68 in the barn

Do you have the engine number ? Probably : KSO plus 3 digits (ex: KSO 234), or the codes for paint and trim ?

Trim code should be "325" : bucket seats charcoal & cloth

Thanks for the advice guys, I am gonna stick with the buick. Still debating how to do it though. Those pistons are locked up tight and the engine is basically rust free inside. Buy a short block or have mine rebuilt. Gotta call around and get some estimates. Where is the engine number mud89? The heads are with me and they are cast with a D/24 and a B1233472 code. Trying to get more work done towards this project but the 81 wagoneer has been demanding my attention. A friend stops by that hasn't seen it since it had no floors, transmission, brakes and he can't believe how great it is. A week later the exhaust breaks in half, the fan clutch stops working at idle and horn goes off whenever it feels the need. For example pulling into the Christmas party with the horn blaring like a you know what. Thanks Jeep.

It's driver side, on a machined surface, just between the first two spark plugs, a little below

I've been putting in some hours on the 70 wagon over the summer and some progress has been made. I will put up a more thorough update soon but right now I could use some help. I ended up finding another buick 350 for the jeep and I'm getting close to putting it in. The problem is I didn't take enough pictures and don't understand how all the pulley brackets go back together. I know it's a bit of a long shot but this is the best place to ask. Could anyone show me how the pulley brackets work with a factory mounted ac condenser for a buick 350?

I'm still figuring out the picture situation on this site so if someone doesn't mind helping an ill prepared idiot I would appreciate it. My email is mbadeaux1992@gmail.com.

Already sent this to Farmwagoneer, but just for reference:

                  https://colinsclassicauto.com/invent...-wagoneer-4wd/

Somehow I struggle to believe the 90k miles on that thing--the only things that indicates that is the peeling chrome on the gauges, and the odometer of course.

I love that 4x4 indicator setup...maybe if I ever find a busted 1414X console (yeah right) I'll take the indicator and mount it under my dash or something
