This is Krista romping her daddy's 401 through the play hole at the Poughkeepsie trail head in 2000.


This Waggy has seen a few trails up there since then.

These are early Walmart picture CDs with film processing. We are getting to have some vintage images considering the digital world races at such a fast pace.

There is also our first look at Yankee Boy Basin. It was very dry that year on Labor Day. Yankee Boy is typically pretty lush.

Oh Yeah - there is also Elvira. She passed to a new phase of her life recently and we are glad she got to stay in the family here.

I could see snow on the San Juan Mtns coming down out of Mesa Verde around 6 last night. It has been raining off and on for a couple days mixed with sleet and small hail. They lifted the fire bans at the park this week too. Looks like summer is over. There will still be plenty of time before winter to get above treeline though.

Very nice company and beautiful day at Clear Lake 2003.


That same year I got to run Black Bear for the first time.


And have the choked feeling at this point coming down.


First time topping Imogene with Wally in 2004.
