I pulled this combo from my '81 Wagoneer a few years back. The engine had enough blowby to encourage me to swap it out, but still ran and moved. I wouldn't feel comfortable installing it without going through it first however. The 727 had been rebuilt with maybe 2-3000 miles on it. Shifted perfectly, I just decided to put a AW4 behind the 4.0 at the same time.
