Don't get it running in time? Failure is not an option. I just finished bolting the front axle into the '79...I should have it all buttoned up by the evening.

      Nice

Way to go Kim! If we get 3 on the road we might cause a flare in regional gas prices. Buy your petroleum futures now!

I'm trying to get 'er done and i'll be giving one last push this weekend. If I don't get it running and at least nearly driveable this weekend it won't be making the trip with me.

Front axle/suspension work is all done. Next time I get a bright idea like this one....slap me up side the head. I HATE WORKING ON SUSPENSIONS!!

Hey guys, I posted this a while back in the other thread, but wanted to make sure everyone sees this. I'm looking for two doors for my '79, they are the older style. They need to be in pretty good condition, like no rust or very little, with all the internals and glass. I will be going on this trip, so if anybody has one or both of these doors, please let me know. Apparently FSJ parts are hard to come by around here

Even if they don't have the internals and glass, I might still be interested.

              I'm out.
              Jeep not done.
              F350 out of order.
              Tbird pissing me off.
Annie is still crushing me inside.
Foot injury has screwed up me being able to work and walk for the most part.
Work is up for sale, future there unknown.
I'm supposed to work till 5am Fri and again from 4pm Fri till 1am Sat.
2 major bills due in the mail anyday now.
Mom is wasting alot of my time.
Life is starting to suck major balls.

It would take days to explain the above and probably bore you to death. I still have it better than alot of people but reality is cruel. Being alone, and with your only family member 1000 miles away and acting like a 16 year old is not helping. All the same I'll push forward when possible. I've only got 10 months till Ouray.

                Tom,

If there's anything I can do let me know.

And ten months should be plenty of time to get both out jeeps together.

Going with out an FSJ, again. So close to having the '71 running but there was just too many things to do and life has a way of getting in the way. Oh well, maybe next time.
