Booyah. It does look good. The color is great. It's gonna look pretty darn good when it's all together. Probably better than pretty darn good.

Thanks all, it is coming together. Trying to get the doors and quarter panels painted over the Thanksgiving break. Building some brackets right now to hold the doors while painting.

Here are a few pics of the brackets I built to hang my doors for painting. Started with some flat bar cut to six inches and then bent to A ninety degree angle.

Built a little jig to hold the pieces in place while I tack weld.

The bracket fits in the gasket groove at the top of the door so you can get to all paintable surfaces. I think it will work and hold the door safely.

Last of the hinges are painted. Getting all this stuff cleaned up took forever. Came up with two good tailgate hinges out of three sets. They were all hard to move, so I soaked them for a few days in BP Blaster and freed them up. Then striped them down to bare metal, primed and painted them.
