Parked it back in the garage (hopefully) out of the way of the idiots who have been driving through my place with mud on their plates. Next time they will get a 5 ton surprise blocking their exit except one. My neighbor with the shot gun!
We're on (posted) private property on a private road so this crap isn't going to fly. They banged into and nearly bent my well head!

Greet em' with a bunch of shotguns and big rifles next time they come anywhere near you! It's your property, protect it. Act a little drunk and/or crazy when you meet them face to face. Not many things could be scarier to someone than the shotgun-wielding drunk/crazy property owner of the property they're trespassing on. Maybe spraypaint signs on a few pieces of wood and nail them up around the property. I'm having way too much fun with this. Best of luck, hope you catch those trespassers!

I may have a set, actually I have a whole engine, if it's not been scrapped yet. came out of a mid 60's skylark.

I would put up spike strips (on your property) . That will surely teach them to trespass.

The 5 ton is parked in the back driveway now. They can't go down the hill backwards in one piece, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next.

Replaced the gas tank. There wasn't really anything wrong with the old one except a couple of leaking gaskets but I had a new one so I replaced it anyway.

Changed the electric choke to manual. (I hate electric chokes)

Installed BJ's 1" lift shackles in the front.

Pulled the motor out, tore it apart and decided not to put it back together.

Rebuilt the GWs front drive shaft. Don't know how long the u-joints I took out were there, but I know that's where they wanted to stay!

Put the front axle back in with SOA. YEAH!!! She is back on 4 tires. Pulled NP 229- installed NP 208. Put on J- truck e-brake cable to rear. Found rear brakes are.. eh.. needing help. Might be time for disk? Got most of the front removed for Rhino conversion. Removed stock roof rack. Now I just need brakes, tierod, drag link, drive shafts, shocks, fuel tank installed, many other things....O' my.

Replaced the valve cover gaskets. Plugged a vacuum leak at the vacuum ball on the firewall. That really settled down the motor. Adjusted the Carb and idle settings. All of a sudden the transmission governor/modulator works. The tyranny now kicks down like it should and scoots! Replaced the muffler with one I had in the shop. It had some holes in it.

Above all, had 2 great days wrenching with my dad. I miss working in the shop with him since I moved to Birmingham.
